Character Deveopment: Nineby `spacecoyote

I've been meaning to fill out a meme for the longest time, but the length of them intimidates me! This one was nice and short and I love to show progression, so here.

I chose Nine because he's one of my oldest characters, and figured his transition from web to print publication and the changes I had to make are interesting.

Trivia about his "Saturnalia" name: I was in a chatroom with some friends when I asked someone about a character's name, and they answered "nine bucks" in response to someone else but for a moment I misinterpreted that as the character's name. I named my own character this as an inside joke.

Trivia about his "Yokaiden" name: mon was a currency in ancient Japan, and kyuu means 9. Another way to pronounce 9 is "ku", and I prefer the sound of "Kumon" but I didn't want him associated with the learning centre.
