A couple of illustrations done for my upcoming comic, Yokaiden, heavily inspired by old Japanese woodblock prints. How do you like my colouring that is full of anomalies?! (I'm really more of an inker than a colourist....)
Hamachi on the left, Kyuumon on the right. If you've ever read my webcomic Saturnalia, yes, Kyuumon is basically Nine in a different time/world. His character design translated strikingly well to ronin-style!
