A doodle that transformed into a picture!
Been wanting to do a series of youkai drawings for a long time, so here's a karasu tengu, a crow goblin, to start it off. Ignore the Japanese on there; there's nothing interesting, save for the haiku I wrote on the rightmost side, but it's shoddy:
ayashigena
tsubasa motsu mono
yoru ugoku
Which translates roughly as "The thing with the shady wings moves at night."
I've also been planning a new comic that's all about youkai. Fun!
This is a weird mix of my own style and Japanese woodblock print style.
